Francesco Nepi, CEO, Chief Executive Officer, Francesco is a consultant in general management, marketing and sales. He has spent over 22 years in the motorcycle and scooter business, first with Piaggio and then with Aprilia. In Aprilia he was Vice-President of Sales for both Aprilia and Moto Guzzi brands. In Piaggio, he was Vice-President for Overseas Markets , General Manager of Marketing and General Manager of Piaggio Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Francesco has been General Secretary of ACEM (the Association of the European Motorcycle Manufacturers) and has worked extensively with the European Commission and the United Nations in the field of motorcycle regulations. Francesco graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Pisa University.
Christian Baio, Sales & Marketing Director, Christian is an expert in sales and marketing of high quality, branded goods. He began working in BMW Italia in 1998 in the dealer development sales and marketing department of the German automobile manufacturer. In 2002, he joined Ducati Motor Holding as Area Sales Manager for Northwest Italy. He then moved to Ferrari, the luxury car producer.
In Ferrari he first held a post in the marketing and sales head office, covering the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia, before becoming the Regional Manager of the Asia Pacific market. In 2007, he was hired by Molteni, a luxury furniture producer based near Milan, as Regional Sales & Marketing Manager for Southern Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa. He graduated in Management Engineering in 1998 from Milan’s Politecnico.
Alessandro Ostuni, R&D and Operations Director, Alessandro is an expert Operations and Technical Director.
Alessandro began his career in 1996 in Piaggio, working in the technical innovation field. He went on to become Technical Manager in Pentair Water Italy. Later he was appointed R&D manager for Ariete. In March 2007 he became Technical Director for Brasilia, coordinating the Italian R&D centre as well as three R&D centres in China. Alessandro graduated with a first class honors degree in Aerospace Engineering from Pisa University, and will enter Oxygen on 1st September 2011.
Giuliano Marra, Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Director, Giuliano began his professional career in Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche with a six years experience in auditing and consulting roles for manufacturing companies. He acquired a deep expertise in Finance and Business Administration, Internal Control Systems and Corporate Governance matters. He then became Chief of Budgeting and Reporting for US subsidiary of the Italian pharmaceutical multinational Sigma Tau and later the Internal Audit Manager for the Italian holding company, Sigma Tau Finanziaria. Finally he held the post of European Internal Audit Manager for SAB Miller Group (Peroni). Giuliano graduated in 1999 in Economics from “La Sapienza University” of Rome.
Francesco Favaretto, Supply Chain Manager, Francesco is an expert in supply chain management and related customer service. He began his professional experience with the European Vinyls Corporation (a multinational producer and distributor of PVC) as supply chain manager for raw materials processes.
In 1999 he was hired by Aprilia to take charge of materials management, product distribution and product supply chain coordination, where he participated in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing with the Kaizen Institute. He worked on European distribution and IT supply chain projects.
In 2006, he joined Piaggio as European Group Logistics Distribution Manager for Spare Parts and Accessories.
Francesco attended the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Ca’ Foscari of Venice, and a master course in Supply Chain Management at CUOA Foundation of Vicenza.

Michele Hausmann, Chairman of the Board, is Co-Founder of Oxygen. He has been Managing Director and Co-Founder (1995) of Madison Capital Group, USA, LLC, an investment banking firm based in New York that specialized in cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as other corporate finance advisory services to clients in the US and Europe. Born in Italy, Hausmann started his career in 1970 with Citibank in Rome and New York, and from 1988 to 1995, worked as General Manager for the New York branch of Banca di Roma.
Alfredo Macchiaverna, Vice Chairman, is Dottore Commercialista with Studio Associato Macchiaverna Guidetti, an established firm based in northern Italy. As Vice Chairman, Alfredo Macchiaverna, manages all Corporate Affairs, supervising the corporate books, internal auditing, tax, banking and legal matters.
Guido Tugnoli, Director, is a founding partner of Four Partners Srl, company that provides private wealth financial advice. Until 2007, Guido was a Managing Director in JP Morgan where he was responsible for the Corporate Finance business in Italy. Guido spent 15 years with JP Morgan working in Milan, London and New York mainly dealing with M&A and corporate finance. Guido has worked on more than 70 transactions focusing on family owned businesses. From 1990 to 1992, Guido worked at Citibank in the credit department based in Milan. He graduated in Business Administration at the Bocconi University in 1990.
Maurizio Terenzi, Director, Maurizio Terenzi has graduated in Economics at the University La Sapienza, in Rome. He started his professional activity in the Italian branch of an American multinational oil company. In 1982 he began his career with an important national pharmaceutical group, where he held different positions, amongst which that of Administrative and Corporate Accountant of the Group. Currently he is the Fiscal Advisor of the entire Group. At the same time Terenzi is Managing Director and Board Member of various Italian and foreign companies.
Maurizio Martinetti, Director, Lawyer before the Supreme Court of Cassation. He is one of five founding partners of Ripa di Meana and associates law firm, with headquarters in Rome and a branch office in Milan. He mainly practices, in both Italian and English, in company, commercial and banking law, also in relation to aspects incidental and relating to competition law, Community law and private international law.
In the course of his professional life he has acted on behalf of Italian and non-Italian industrial, commercial and financial corporations engaged in major acquisitions, and reorganisation and restructuring operations, establishing joint ventures and corporate partnerships (including the negotiation of shareholders' agreements), spin-offs, project and structured finance, and extraordinary financing operations, also in relation to listed companies.
