De Post / La Poste Awards Business Tender to Oxygen

The team in Belgium followed a rigorous and demanding purchasing process in several steps. After a qualification stage where economic solidity and quality standards were verified, 2 Oxygen Postscooters were tested and compared with other 5 scooter models. After 5 weeks of testing in different post offices in the 3 main regions of the country, Oxygen and De Post went through a 3-step negotiation stage. In July 2006 De Post signed the contract with Oxygen and issued an initial order of 50 Postscooters. Since October 2006 Oxygen fleet at De Post is delivering mail throughout the country and topped more than 135.000 km of travel.
