
Postal organizations face many challenges when managing their fleet. The vast majority of scooters in service today are petrol units designed for the consumer market: built to perform small commutes a few times a day. Postal use is much more intense, with frequent stop-and-go at low speeds and with loads often exceeding 70- 90kg.
Since its introduction in October 2006, approximately 500 PostScooters are being operated between all our postal clients. Our PostScooters has demonstrated outstanding performance compared to conventional scooters and is rapidly gaining market share. In recognition of our achievements, Oxygen was nominated at the 2007 World Mail Awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility category for its PostScooters initiative using Light Electric Vehicles to deliver mail.
